You can see one of our GPs for a full health screening. This is in addition to our regular health screening.
The screen includes the following checks, as appropriate.
Measurement

• Blood pressure
• Weight
• Height
• Body Mass Index
• Abdominal width
• Urine analysis
• Electrocardiogram (ECG)

Tests

• Full blood count
• Liver function tests (LFT)
• Kidney function tests (U&E)
• Thyroid function test
• Fasting Lipids
• Fasting Blood Glucose (Diabetes)
• Bone Profile
• Iron tests (if required)
• Uric acid (if required)
• PSA Prostate blood test (if required)

The GP will carry out a comprehensive physical examination which will include:

• Cardiovascular
• Respiratory
• Nervous System
• Gastrointestinal
• Muscle & Skeletal
• Abdominal
• Testicular (if required)
• Prostate (if required)
• Skin (if required)

Following your health check, you may be advised to attend for follow up GP checks or referred for specialist care. This may incur additional charges.
